We are excited to announce that the Blackwood Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been awarded a $94,420 grant from the Native Forestry Transition, Community Small Grant Fund. This funding will support the launch of our Digital Horizons: Social Media Mastery program, an initiative designed to empower local businesses with advanced social media skills to drive growth and innovation in our community.

    About the Digital Horizons Program

The Digital Horizons program is a comprehensive educational initiative aimed at enhancing digital literacy among small businesses, entrepreneurs, and marketing professionals in Bridgetown Greenbushes and surrounding areas. Participants will receive hands-on training and expert guidance on effectively using social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook to build their brands, engage with audiences, and expand their market reach.

    Program Highlights:

    • Building Your Brand for Social Media Masterclass: Learn how to create and manage a strong, memorable brand.
    • Instagram Intensive: Gain insights into optimising your Instagram presence, from mastering Reels to developing a successful hashtag strategy.
    • TikTok for Business: Explore TikTok’s unique culture and learn how to leverage it for business growth.
    • Facebook Deep Dive: Understand how to use Facebook for business, including ads, page management, and community engagement.
    • Influencer and Collaboration Strategies: Discover how to find and manage influencers to enhance your brand’s visibility.

The first phase of the program will begin after the application process with the "Building Your Brand for Social Media Masterclass." As a pilot program, if successful, we plan to expand it to other regions in the southwest.

20 Businesses will also receive one on one mentoring by social media experts Purple Giraffe

    Why Digital Horizons?

As the digital landscape continues to evolve, it is crucial for local businesses to adapt and grow. The Digital Horizons program aims to provide the tools and knowledge needed to navigate this digital shift, helping our businesses become more competitive in both local and global markets.
